Curd manna

Any “wet” baked goods in a slow cooker turn out “excellent”. Many housewives enjoy the creative process of cooking, especially if the multicooker does most of the work. And today we present to your attention several simple recipes for cottage cheese baking in a slow cooker.

If you haven’t tried cooking manna in a slow cooker, and even with cottage cheese, it’s time to master this culinary recipe. Delicate texture, airy manna will appeal to everyone without exception.

We will prepare manna from these products:

  • semolina - glass;
  • eggs – 3 pcs.;
  • baking powder in a bag – 1 tsp;
  • sour cream - half a glass;
  • butter – 1 tsp;
  • sugar – 5 tbsp;
  • vanilla - to taste.

Manna is prepared according to this scheme:

  1. The basis for success is precise adherence to the dosage of all ingredients, plus a good mood. First you need to grease the bottom of the multicooker and approximately 1/3 of the walls with a piece of soft butter. The multicooker is ready, you can proceed to the next step.
  2. You need to break the eggs into 2 different containers so that the whites are in one bowl or free bowl, and the yolks are in another.
  3. Add half a glass of sugar to the yolks and beat with a mixer at low speed. As you beat, the mixture should lighten and increase slightly in volume. Gradually you can add the remaining sugar. The entire process takes approximately 5 minutes. But, everything will depend on how powerful the mixer you use. It will take a little longer to whisk by hand.
  4. Have you achieved the desired result? Now take a sieve to strain the curd through it. When choosing cottage cheese in a store, give preference to a product with medium fat content.
  5. Now sour cream – fat content 22%, add sour cream, mix.
  6. Vanilla powder will go into the bowl with the yolks next. And if you have a bag of sugar, then you need to pour it out along with regular sugar.
  7. All that remains is semolina and baking powder - add everything, whisk again, only at low speed, so as not to mix all the ingredients by hand.
  8. That's it, this bowl with half the dough can be set aside.
  9. The beaters of the food processor or mixer must be washed, the bowl for beating the whites must be clean and dry.
  10. Add a pinch of fine salt to the egg whites and beat until the mixture doubles in volume and becomes light in color. Confectioners call this state of proteins “stable peaks.” This process also takes at least 5-7 minutes.
  11. Now you need to very carefully combine the yolks with cottage cheese and semolina, with whipped whites. We recommend using wooden cutlery or a silicone spatula. Take the whipped whites a little at a time, carefully fold them into the dough, moving from bottom to top. This method is called "folding".
  12. We have made the dough, then we need to carefully transfer it into the previously prepared form.
  13. At this point, the preparatory process is completed, we select the program for preparing dessert for tea - “Baking”, the timer must be turned on for 60 minutes.
  14. Cooking features: during baking, the lid of the device must not be opened. If you are curious, manna can “sit down” and turn into a flat cake. It will be tasty and sweet, but there will be no pleasure from eating such a dessert. So we recommend being patient and waiting.
  15. After the signal, turn off the device completely, do not open the lid yet. Leave the dessert in the slow cooker with the lid closed for 30-40 minutes. And even better - at night. This slow method of cooling and adaptation will allow you to achieve the desired result. And the manna will turn out magnificent.
  16. Well, if your plans do not include such a long cooking process, then after 30 minutes you can open the lid and allow the manna to rest a little more in the slow cooker, literally 5 minutes. Using a steaming rack, carefully remove the baked goods and place them on a platter.
  17. When it cools down, decorate as your imagination dictates. The classic is to crush powdered sugar through a fine strainer and decorate the top with candied fruits or fresh berries. Now the manna is ready, quickly put on the kettle to treat everyone to cottage cheese pastries.

Mannik with cottage cheese in a slow cooker with kefir

Mannik with the addition of cottage cheese is a great start to the day! Because it's tasty and satisfying. A multicooker will help you prepare such a dessert for breakfast. You can start in the evening, and in the morning remove the lush manna from the mold and serve it with tea.

List of products for work:

  • cottage cheese of any fat content – 300 g;
  • semolina - a glass;
  • kefir or curdled milk/ryazhenka – a glass;
  • sugar - half a glass;
  • vanilla sugar or vanillin powder - to taste;
  • eggs – 3 pcs.;
  • baking powder - a teaspoon.

The process of preparing dough for dessert:

  1. In some ways, this recipe is reminiscent of a casserole with cottage cheese, but in a slow cooker the baked goods will not be as dry as in the oven. Let's start by preparing the semolina. It needs to be poured into a bowl and filled with kefir. Let it stand on the table aside for now, and we will move on to other products. It is advisable to let the semolina brew for 20-30 minutes.
  2. Take another empty bowl, rub the cottage cheese through a sieve into this bowl, add eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar and baking powder. This is an accelerated version of kneading dough. Second option: beat eggs with sugar separately, add vanillin or vanilla sugar, and then add pureed cottage cheese and baking powder to this mixture.
  3. It’s time to add the swollen semolina to the cottage cheese with eggs and sugar.
  4. Preparing the form: in advance or right now. The bowl needs to be greased with any oil, it’s good if you have a piece of soft butter and you can lightly crush the bottom and side walls with semolina, so that the finished semolina is easier to remove later.
  5. The dough should be poured into the mold, if necessary, smooth the top with a spatula and bake with the lid closed for an hour. “Baking” mode, try not to open the lid!
  6. The peculiarity of all baked goods in a slow cooker is the pale top. When you hear the signal, you can immediately remove the finished manna or wait another 20-30 minutes. And if you decide to cook manna in the evening for breakfast, then after the signal you need to turn off the device completely, without opening the lid. Leave the manna in the slow cooker until the morning. Nothing will happen to it, since the device is turned off; on the contrary, the baked goods will be tender and soft, as well as fluffy, which many housewives have been achieving for years by preparing manna in the oven.
  7. Transfer the cooled manna to a plate, decorate and cut into portions. The ideal breakfast is a piece of manna, poured with liquid sour cream and a scoop of fresh cottage cheese.

Then turn on the blender, beat the mixture for about a minute, add the remaining sugar, beat for several minutes. At about the 3rd minute, the mass will begin to lighten and become fluffy. You can stop.
  3. Grind the cottage cheese through a sieve and add it to the egg-sugar mixture.

  6. Add vanilla and mix everything again.
  7. Leave this mixture for a quarter of an hour, while you can prepare the multicooker bowl. It needs to be greased with oil and lightly crushed with crushed breadcrumbs or semolina.
  8. When the time is up, the semolina has infused sufficiently, it’s time to move the dough into the multicooker and select a mode. We will cook in the “Baking” program, 45 minutes.
  9. If you followed the cooking rules, the manna will turn out fluffy and airy. He won't sit down while cooking unless disturbed. So try not to look into the middle and wait for the coveted signal.
  10. Then transfer the baked goods to a plate and leave for 20 minutes to cool slightly. That's all the work is, it's time to cut the dessert into pieces and think about what to serve with.

Chocolate manna with cottage cheese in a slow cooker

Mannik is a pastry that can be prepared from leftover ingredients in the refrigerator. If you have a little milk, sour cream or kefir - great. Nuts, candied fruits and dried fruits are excellent, cottage cheese is great. All these products go well together. Another excellent baking option for family tea parties.

List of what you need:

  • cottage cheese (low fat content) – a pack or 200 g;
  • kefir (you can use sour cream) – 3 tbsp;
  • semolina – 3 tbsp;
  • sugar – 3 tbsp;
  • salt - a pinch;
  • butter (or replace with margarine) – 100 g;
  • flour - half a glass;
  • cocoa powder – 3 tbsp;
  • soda (quench with vinegar) - half a teaspoon or baking powder - 1 tsp.

Manna preparation process:

  1. We rub the cottage cheese through a sieve, pour out the kefir and pour in the semolina. If the cottage cheese is soft and wet, then you can add 1 tablespoon less kefir or sour cream.
  2. Let the cereal sit, and we have something to do. You need to beat the eggs with sugar until fluffy white foam, and at the end add butter (only soft!) and beat again with a whisk or mixer at low speed.
  3. Combine both mixtures, add baking powder or soda (be sure to quench with vinegar!) and cocoa. Just so that the cocoa powder does not form lumps, you need to put a little dough in a bowl and grind the powder with this dough. This makes it easier to control the process and ensure that the dough turns out homogeneous.
  4. Preparing the baking bowl: grease with oil (any kind you have) and pour in the dough.
  5. Bake as standard using the Baking program for 45 minutes. And if the device is low-power, more for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Remove when cooled slightly and cut into portions. It would be nice to decorate such beautiful chocolate pastries with powdered sugar, then you will get a festive option that you won’t be ashamed to serve and drink a cup of aromatic herbal tea with your guests along with manna with cottage cheese prepared in a slow cooker.

Mannik with cottage cheese in a slow cooker with orange

Here it is, the same recipe that many housewives talk about. A simple set of ingredients complements one fruit, but what a result! It’s worth trying to cook manna with us using this recipe.

Prepare the following:

  • semolina - glass;
  • sugar - a glass without a slide;
  • cottage cheese – 1.5 packs or 300 g;
  • eggs - 3 pcs.;
  • kefir or homemade yogurt – half a glass;
  • baking powder – 1 tsp;
  • raisins - a handful;
  • oranges – 2 pcs.

The process of preparing and baking manna:

  1. Mix kefir or yogurt with semolina in a separate bowl and let it steep for a while.
  2. Take a second empty deep bowl, mix the eggs with sugar, beat for a few minutes by hand or with a mixer. You need to beat for a long time until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  3. Into this mixture we add cottage cheese, pureed through a sieve (if necessary) and semolina swollen in kefir.
  4. Scald the oranges with boiling water and wipe dry. Finely grate the zest to be added to the finished dough.
  5. Also baking powder and raisins (pre-steamed). Once again, beat everything together thoroughly with a mixer, only at minimum speed.
  6. The dough has been prepared, grease the multicooker bowl with a piece of butter and pour out the dough.
  7. Lower the lid and cook the manna with the lid closed for 45 minutes in the “Baking” mode. All that remains is to wait, and to make the time pass faster, we advise you to slowly set the table. Think about what kind of tea to brew and what else to serve with tea and semolina. Bon appetit!

For the manna to be a success, you must:

  • leave the dough for 15 minutes to rest. The semolina will swell and the baked goods will turn out tender. And if you don’t do this, it’s dry;
  • Instead of vanilla sugar, use vanilla extract or vanilla bean;
  • instead of baking powder, regular soda + vinegar (preferably apple vinegar) will do;
  • you can put finely chopped nuts, pieces of fruit and banana into the dough;
  • Do not knead the dough too stiff.

Mannik with cottage cheese in a slow cooker. Video

But I wanted to cook it somehow unusual. I looked in the refrigerator to see what I could make it out of. And the first thing that caught my eye was the cottage cheese left over from breakfast. Great! Not everyone uses it to prepare manna, but in vain. With its use, the finished product turns out to be lush in shape and delicate in taste.

And so it was decided, we use cottage cheese and milk for baking, but not fresh, but fermented. If you don’t have such milk, then you can take fresh milk, or the traditional type of baked goods - kefir. And so that our manna takes on a new shape and a new taste, we will use fruit as a filling, and dry cookies as a base.

I can already imagine how delicious it will be! Even an ordinary manna is always met with a bang! And this one can shout “Hurray!” more than once. And so let's get started.

Curd manna with milk with fruits or berries

We will need:

  • semolina - 1 tbsp.
  • sugar - 1 tbsp.
  • milk - 1 tbsp.
  • flour - 1 tbsp.
  • cottage cheese - 1 tbsp.
  • egg - 2 pcs.
  • baking powder - 1 teaspoon (or soda slaked with vinegar)
  • dry cookies - 100 gr.
  • vanillin - on the tip of a knife
  • filling - fresh or frozen fruits (or berries)
  • butter - 1 tbsp. spoon
  • salt - a pinch
  • powdered sugar - for sprinkling

Preparation:

1. Beat eggs with sugar using a whisk until smooth.

2. Add milk. I use fermented milk. We often make it at home, and homemade is homemade, everyone loves it. In addition, it can be added to the dough for pies, pies, and muffins. Therefore, for manna, I also often use it.

If you don’t have such milk, then fresh milk is also perfect; manna will turn out just as good. The only thing you will need to add to the dough is an extra tablespoon of flour. If there is no milk, then kefir or sour cream will do. In general, the milk component should be no less than a glass. If, for example, you have half a glass of milk and half of kefir left, then it will be just fine!

3. Mix the milk and add semolina. Let's stir again.

4. Now add baking powder and salt. Stir again and add cottage cheese and vanillin.

5. Now it’s the flour’s turn. Mix thoroughly and leave for 20 minutes for the semolina to swell.

6. While the dough reaches the desired state, let's prepare the cookies and fruit.

7. Crush the cookies into small pieces using a masher. This will be our basis for the manna.

8. You can take absolutely any fruit. Pitted cherries, plums, apricots, apples, pears...anything works well. Everything you can find in your kitchen.

When the berries are ripe, be sure to prepare manna using them, believe me, it’s worth it! It turns out not only tasty, but also beautiful and aromatic.

I'm using frozen fruit today. I still have sloe, or Ural plum. It is the size of a large grape and has a sweet and sour taste. Just what you need. Manna will not turn out to be cloyingly sweet; sour plums will give the desired flavor note. I have them with a bone, it needs to be removed.

9. To do this, I rinse the frozen berries with cold water and place them on a paper napkin to drain off excess liquid. Then I cut it into two halves and easily remove the bone.

10. Prepare the form. Either a deep silicone mold or a glass one will do. I will make manna in glass form. Grease the bottom and sides with soft butter. Place the rest on the bottom. Sprinkle crushed cookies on it. Lightly press it with your hand, as if compressing it.

11. Pour a little, about 1/3 of the finished dough, so that all the cookies are covered.

12. Carefully spread the filling in a thick layer. But we don’t press the contents into the dough, we just put it in as it lies.

13. Pour the remaining dough on top. Let stand for 5 minutes so that the dough penetrates into all the voids.

14. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30 minutes. The mannik should be browned by this time. Determine readiness with a toothpick. When you pierce the finished product with it, there should be no sticky dough left on it.

15. Remove from the oven. Cover the top with a large flat board and turn it over. Mannik ended up on the board, but “upside down.” Have a large flat plate or dish ready. Cover the manna with a plate and turn it over again.

16. Let it cool a little and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve warm or cooled, as you like, with hot tea.

The manna turned out very beautiful when cut. It turned out to be several layers.

Sometimes I whip up a cake from such manna. All you need is cream and beautiful design. While it is cooking, you can make the cream. Any will do - personally, I really like sour cream. I think it goes very well with manna, and is very tasty on its own. Moreover, it is very simple to make.

In order to apply the cream, the manna must be completely cooled. Then decorate and refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours. Then serve with tea.

How to make sour cream

We will need:

  • sour cream - 0.5 l
  • sugar - 1.5 cups

Preparation:

Beat the cooled sour cream with sugar using a mixer into a fluffy foam. It is better to use thick and fatty sour cream. The cream made from such sour cream will definitely not spread.

You can check the readiness of the cream by turning the bowl left and right. If the cream does not move from side to side. it means he's ready!

You can decorate the manna cake at your own discretion, as your imagination dictates. It turns out very beautiful and tasty - decorate it with fresh berries and fruits.

Bon appetit!

Nothing more than a simple pie, in which the flour is replaced with semolina (by the way, flour is still added to some recipes). Mannik can be prepared and served on its own, or used as a cake crust, decorated with berries, syrup or cream. In this article we will tell you how to prepare manna with cottage cheese.

Mannik without flour with cottage cheese

Ingredients:

  • cottage cheese - 300 g;
  • semolina - 1 tbsp.;
  • kefir - 2/3 tbsp.;
  • sugar - 2/3 tbsp.;
  • eggs - 3 pcs.;
  • baking powder for dough - 1 teaspoon.

Preparation

Heat it slightly and pour semolina over it. Let the semolina swell for about 30 minutes. In the meantime, you can beat the cottage cheese with eggs and sugar (a drop of vanilla essence or a teaspoon of vanilla sugar wouldn’t hurt). Add baking powder to the resulting homogeneous mass of cottage cheese and eggs, mix and add the swollen semolina.

Mix the dough with a spoon until smooth and pour into a baking dish approximately 20x20 cm in size. Pre-grease the pan with oil and sprinkle with semolina.

Bake manna on kefir with cottage cheese for 45 minutes at 180 degrees. The finished dish can be sprinkled with powdered sugar, jam, or decorated with whipped cream.

If you want to cook manna with cottage cheese in a multicooker, then pour the dough into the greased bowl of the device and set the “Baking” mode for 60 minutes.

Mannik with cottage cheese and sour cream

Mannikas with sour cream turn out to be the most tender and airy. The fact is that sour cream, like kefir, contains a large amount of lactic acid, and therefore reacts well with soda or baking powder.

Ingredients:

  • semolina - 1 tbsp.;
  • sour cream - 1 tbsp.;
  • cottage cheese - 250 g;
  • sugar - 1 tbsp.;
  • eggs - 2 pcs.;
  • soda - on the tip of a knife;
  • butter - 100 g;
  • raisins, chopped nuts - optional.

Preparation

Mix semolina with sour cream and leave to swell for 20-25 minutes. While the semolina absorbs moisture, beat the eggs with sugar and add them to the already swollen cereal. Next we send soft butter, soda and grated cottage cheese. Knead the dough into a homogeneous mixture and add chopped nuts, raisins, or other dried fruits to taste.

Grease the baking dish with butter and sprinkle with flour or semolina. Pour the dough into the mold and place it in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes. After the time has passed, the manna should be cooled and only then served.

Mannik with cottage cheese and milk

Ingredients:

  • semolina - 200 g;
  • milk - 200 ml;
  • cottage cheese - 150 g;
  • sugar - 1/2 tbsp.;
  • butter - 1 tbsp. spoon;
  • sour cream - 2 tbsp. spoons;
  • soda - a pinch;
  • vanilla essence.

Preparation

Pour the semolina with slightly warm milk and leave to swell. After a couple of hours, flavor the mixture with vanilla essence, sugar and soft butter. Grind the cottage cheese through a sieve separately and mix with sour cream; add the resulting mixture to all other dough ingredients. Pour the homogeneous dough into the prepared baking dish and place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. After 30-35 minutes, when the top of our semolina pie turns golden brown, it can be removed from the oven and left to cool in a warm place.

If you want to diversify the pie a little, then prepare manna with cottage cheese and apples. This is done quite simply: cut the apples into cubes and sprinkle with lemon juice, add them to the prepared dough and mix everything. We bake the manna at the same temperature and serve with sour cream, custard or protein cream, as well as powdered sugar mixed with cinnamon.

This kind of delicacy is very similar to a regular pie, but they have one significant difference - semolina is used instead of flour to prepare manna. Thanks to this component, the dough turns out unique: fluffy and tender.

How to cook manna with cottage cheese

Allowing the cereal to swell is the main condition, observing which you will receive an unimaginably tender and airy dessert. You can prepare manna with cottage cheese and other additives: bananas, citrus zest, dried fruits. The cook does not need any special knowledge when cooking: you just need to make a not too stiff curd dough, place it in a mold and bake.

In a slow cooker

With the advent of this technique, making a pie has become faster: you just need to knead the dough correctly and set the miracle saucepan to the desired mode. The base for the treat should be liquid, and you can look at the recipe for additives or add your own.
