Minced beef steak recipes. Minced beefsteak with egg

The easiest and fastest option for a hearty lunch or dinner is pork steak.

An interesting fact - no matter how you cook it - in the oven, in a frying pan or in a slow cooker, the meat in any case turns out tasty and juicy!

Steak is usually prepared from beef, but this dish is not very tender and soft. But the pork version completely changes the situation!

Pork steak - general cooking principles

For steak, it is better to use fresh meat. It should be pinkish in color and have a pleasant smell.

The piece of pork that you take for the dish must have a layer of fat - this will give tenderness to the future steak. If you purchase meat in a package, make sure that there is not a large amount of liquid inside the package.

Fry the steak meat in pieces or knead the minced meat and prepare flat cutlets. For better roasting and faster cooking, a piece of meat should be cut against the grain. Its width should not exceed two centimeters. For minced meat, it is better to grind the meat through a large sieve of a meat grinder along with the onion. If desired, you can simply chop the pork for cutlets finely, this way the meat will better retain its juiciness.

A classic steak is marinated only with salt and pepper, but for a more interesting taste you can add spices, lemon juice, mayonnaise or mustard. You can also combine the dish with eggs, vegetables or cheese. Cook the steak in the oven, frying pan or in a slow cooker.

Serve the steak with fried or boiled potatoes, fresh or steamed vegetables, herbs, porridge, or serve the dish as a main dish with slices of black bread.

To prevent the cutlets from falling apart during cooking, you can add an egg and bread softened in milk to the minced meat.

Any spices in moderate quantities are suitable for the dish.

Pork cooks quite quickly, so you need to try not to overcook it, otherwise the meat will turn out dry.
